WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? visits Blackpool Central Library

Did you see Blackpool Central Library on television last week?

Blackpool Central Library was very proud to take part in the BBC’s Who Do You Think You Are? television show last week for the second time; this time tracing the family history of the longest serving member of Coronation Street, British actor Bill Roache. Tracing his family all the way back to Blackpool, Bill uses Blackpool Library Service’s Local and Family History centre to delve into his fascinating past. Talking to Professor Toulmin and aided by our resident historian, Tony Sharkey; Bill unfolds the secrets of his relative’s history.
If you missed it, you can still catch up online on BBC iPlayer or by follow the link below.
