Coffee Morning with Elizabeth Fremantle
Central Library – 10.30am
Former Fashion Editor for French Vogue, Elizabeth Fremantle has already conquered the fashion world. She now turns her hand to historical fiction and the life of Henry VIII’s sixth wife, Katherine Parr, in her mesmerising debut novel, The Queen’s Gambit. Join Fremantle for morning coffee at Central Library, as she questions … why do intelligent women make bad decisions when it comes to love?

Lunch with the Murder Squad
Central Library – 12noon to 2pm
Acclaimed crime writers, Martin Edwards & Kate Ellis, will be hosting a lunch at Blackpool Central Library. This is a wonderful opportunity for fans and aspiring writers to discover what it takes to create the perfect murder mystery.

Writing a One Act Play with David Riley
Central Library – 2.30-4.30pm
Winner of Grand Words one act playwriting competition 2012, David Riley, will be sharing the secrets to writing a great one act play.

Blackpool’s Dead Good Poets & Trevor Meaney
Café No5, Cedar Square – 6pm
Trevor Meaney, a performance poet with a background improv theatre, will be joining Blackpool’s Dead Good Poets as they host an open mic event.
