Calling out all Fylde Coast garden shed inventors, engineering buffs, artists and wannabe scientists!
We want your inventions for an art exhibition
Lost Inventions Fantastic Creations.
Osmosis Machine aims to seek out all inventors, artists and engineers- amateur or professional- and is just as interested in prototype sketches as much as successful patented or commercially viable products.
The inventions could be unfinished, gone wrong, and don’t even have to be unique- they could be replicas of antiquity or just even sketched ideas. All we ask is that they are safe for the public to look at or engage with. To be exhibited at a central Blackpool location this summer.
Five commissions of up to £400 are available
Deadline for applications: Friday 27 June 2014
Up to five artists, inventors or organisations may also be eligible for a small commission of up to £400 towards developing an art work type machine. The machine could make patterns, sound or even draw or create art on behalf of its creators. Inventors may also be paired up with artists to work on the commissions if appropriate. Workshops may also be eligible as part of the commissions.
The final presentations hopes to merge the potential inventions and art works side by side in order to blur the bridge between artist, scientist engineer and inventor so each may learn from each other to develop relationships and exchange skills and ideas.
