John Simpson Wedge is a writer and comedian from Leicester. With a background in philosophy and history his work frequently includes historical or fantastical references and has been described as ‘nicely surreal’ and ‘like Roald Dahl’s Revolting Rhymes for adults’. He attended the University of East Anglia and was president of the university’s prestigious Creative Writing Society. His first children’s book City of Dragons was published in 2015. He currently works for the Blackpool Museum Project.
