Keep your excited little ones busy this festive season with Blackpool Library Service.

This year, we’ve arranged a selection of events to get you out of the festive grump and into the festive spirit. You’ve probably noticed all the little Christmas trees popping up around Blackpool libraries, and that is just the beginning of our Festive Fun…

See & Do with Bonkers Clutterbooks
Make Fancy Festive Things at our FREE craft events for children aged 6-12
Saturday 5 December
10.30am-12pm

Booster Cushion presents A Christmas Carol
A comical version of Dickens’ classic tale using a large pop-up book, audience participation, humbugs and snow. The scene is created using mime, voice and sign language.
Saturday 12 December
10-10.45am

Cornucopia
A concoction of contemporary Christmassy prose, poetry, anecdotes & musical interludes with Vita,  Live Poets and Poetry People

Festive Freyja Faery
A Christmas themed Rhythm & Rhyme session with the opportunity to win a family ticket to see Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs at the Grand Theatre, Blackpool.

Family Festive Event
Fun Christmas crafts for all the family. We’ll be making Santa hats, a festive wreath or garlands and much more!

Listen to the children from Westcliff Primary School singing Christmas songs accompanied by festive refreshments.

We’ll  be showcasing our bookish Christmas Tree at Salem Methodist Church in Layton
10, 11, 12 December

Kid’s Christmas Quiz
Pop into Layton Library to collect the Kid’s Christmas Quiz. All clever clogs must return their quizzes by 19 December 2015.
There are two prizes to be won!

 Wednesday 23 December and reopen on Monday 4 January 2016
