Project Octagon


LeftCoast is looking for male participants between the ages of 18 – 40 to take part in an exciting, UK wide, theatre project for Summer 2016, working with partners in England, Scotland and Wales.

We are looking to recruit individuals who are dedicated and enthusiastic about taking part in a one-off, large-scale event, which will be directed by an award-winning team. Alongside hundreds of other people, you will be taking part in a performance that will mark a moment in national history.


Please book a place on one of the following workshops:
Thurs 14 April 6pm–8pm – Upstairs room, Layton Institute
Sat 16 April 1pm–3pm – Brunswick room, Blackpool Central Library
Mon 18 April 7pm–9pm – Upstairs room, Raikes Hall
Tues 26 April 6pm–8pm – Lounge, St Kentigern’s Parish Centre

No previous experience is necessary, however you will need to be comfortable performing in a public space and to have a good level of physical fitness.
There are also opportunities for project assistants, runners and stage managers.
Please note that there are no gender or age restrictions for volunteer positions and training will be given.
