Mental Health Awareness Week 2016

Mental Health Awareness Week was launched in 2000, in order to generate public debates around how anxiety, sleep deprivation and exercise can impact our mental health.
This year, they’ll be talking about relationships.

At Moor Park Library, they’ve put up an amazing display featuring recommended reading and colouring sheets to help promote awareness of Mental Health Week.

They’re recommending…

The Last Bus to Coffeeville – J Paul Henderson
Travel across America with ‘Doc’! He’s just‘kidnapped’ Nancy from a nursing home.
With his friends Bob (officially dead for 40 years) and Jack (disgraced weatherman having a mid-life crisis), they travel through Mississippi in a stolen tour bus once owned by Paul McCartney.

The Humans – Matt Haig
The Mirror World of Melody Black – Gavin Extence
Wonder – Raquel J. Palacio
We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves – Karen Joy Fowler
